“We hear only those questions for which we are in a position to find answers.” Friedrich Nietzsche

Sometimes when we are evaluating our lives, we need to ask ourselves the hard questions and here they are:

1. Do you feel like you’ve lived this same day many times before?

Take a hard look to see if you are spending each day like the day before. Evaluate whether you are living in a life filled with monotony. This is not necessarily a bad thing if you answer “yes” to number 2.

My Answer: I, like many people, have a general routine that I follow during the week. But, I absolutely make it a point to break out of the monotony everyday whether it be just taking a new route to work or cooking a new recipe.

2. Are you living the life of your dreams?

If you had a choice today of how to live your life, what would you do? Is that what you are doing now?

My Answer: I can honestly say that i am actively working towards my dream life and I see progress almost every day. Ideally, I would be living a life that is location independent, packed with new experiences, and filled will the satisfaction of helping others to step out of the box.

3. What would you do if fear was not a factor and you could not fail?

Fear holds us back from attempting so many of our dreams, what one thing would you do if there was no fear involved?

My Answer: Sell everything and travel the world accomplishing all my goals.

4. What were you doing when you felt most passionate and alive?

Think back to a time in your life when you felt the most passion. What was it that made you feel this alive?

My Answer: I always feel most alive when I am in the planning phase of a goal. I thrive off of the feeling of hope, excitement and motivation that comes while making arrangements.

5. What are you most grateful for?

Take a moment to consider all the of things in your life that you are thankful for. They could be big or small as long as they have meaning to you.

My Answer: When I am lying in bed in the morning I mentally list five thing I am grateful for. I think it is a positive way to start my day. If I have to narrow it down to just a couple I would say that I am so thankful for all the amazing new experiences that I have had and to know the feeling of unconditional love.
