The actual goal on my Bucket List is to “Watch Turtles Hatch & Run for the Ocean” and this was kind of close…sort of…ok, not really. But, it was really cool and a new experience so that warrants at least a mention. Our recent Swimming with the Stingray excursion included a trip to the Cayman Turtle Farm, an interactive experience that featured hundreds of these majestic creatures in all sizes. We walked from each pool ogling, petting and holding the different varieties, the largest being over 600 pounds. You would think an animal that heavy would be scary, but the most frightening part was touching the turtle poop floating in the murky water and the two inch purple nails of the tour guide.
